Brampton Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Reception on April 17

The City of Brampton will induct six new members into its Sports Hall of Fame on April 17 at the Rose Theatre Brampton.

“Athletes” category inductees:

  • Gillian Apps (Hockey)
  • Ron Fellows (Race Car Driving)
  • Mark Janoschak (Figure Skating)

“Builders” category inductees:

  • Peter Sjouwerman (Boxing)
  • Linda Skillen (Hockey)

“Veterans” category inductee:

  • Bill Castator (Lacrosse)

The Sports Hall of Fame event begins with a cocktail dinner reception at 6 pm. Tickets are $40 per person, and can be purchased now at the Rose Theatre Box Office. Call 905-874-2800.

The Brampton Sports Hall of Fame was founded in 1979 by a group of dedicated sport enthusiasts, in conjunction with the City’s Parks and Recreation Division. The Hall of Fame is

located in the Powerade Centre on Kennedy Road, south of Steeles Avenue.
