Investigators from the Peel Police 21 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau are investigating an early evening shooting in the Malton area of Mississauga.
On Friday April 12, 2013 at approximately 8:20 p.m. police received a 911 call for a shooting in the area of Rockhill Road, in Mississauga. When police arrived they located an 18 year-old Mississauga male, suffering from several gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a Toronto area trauma center in critical condition.
The victim has since been upgraded to stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses in relation to this shooting. Police do not have any suspect information for release at this time.
