Peel Police Special Victims Unit Issues Warrant for Sex Offender Mehdi MIRZA ALI, 54 of Brampton

PEEL-POLICEInvestigators from Peel Regional Police’s Special Victims Unit have issued a warrant for a 54 year old male charging him with sexual assault related offences, which occurred over a 4 month time frame, in the Region of Peel.

Mehdi MIRZA ALI, 54 of Brampton is wanted on the following charges, in relation to a fifteen year old girl;

  • Invitation to Sexual Touching
  • Sexual Interference
  • Sexual Exploitation x 2
  • Sexual Assault

Mr. Mehdi MIRZA ALI worked as a volunteer driver for Milestone Foster Homes, the Peel Children’s Aid Society and the Toronto Catholic Children’s Aid Society, driving children in their care to appointments throughout the greater Toronto area.

Investigators spoke with Mr. Mehdi MIRZA ALI and arrangements were made to turn himself in on April 5, 2013, however he failed to attend. Information received is that the accused may have fled the country on April 6, 2013.

Due to his position, investigators are concerned there may be other victims and are asking the public to report any similar inappropriate sexual contact they may have had with Mr. Mehdi MIRZA ALI.
