Suspect Identified in Television Thefts From Trucking Compound

Brampton – Investigators from the Commercial Auto Unit are investigating a theft of 210 43” and 32” Samsung plasma televisions from a Brampton truck compound.

On Wednesday November 7th, 2012 the suspect entered the trucking yard at 265 Rutherford Road in Brampton and stole a trailer containing 210 Samsung televisions with a value of approximately $200 000.

The trailer was located empty in the City of Vaughn later the same date. On November 10th the entire load of televisions was located in a warehouse at 69 Westmore Drive in the City of Toronto.

Also located within the same address was stolen property from two other thefts, totalling $400 000.

Police have identified the suspect and are seeking the public’s assistance in locating him. An arrest warrant has been issued for Sukhvir SINGH, age 31, of Brampton.
