A woman is dead and a driver will likely face charges following a hit-and-run pedestrian collision in Concord on Thursday morning.
Police say the collision happened just after 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Dufferin Hill Drive and Dufferin Street, just south of Rutherford Road.
A woman who police say is in her 50s was struck by a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
A vehicle fled, but a 47-year-old driver turned himself in to police after 9 a.m. Police say charges are pending.
